  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the IB, IE and IH J/B connectors.
    2. Disconnect the B3 and B5 ECU connectors.
    3. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.
    VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
    BECU (IB-4) - Body ground W-R - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
    BDR1 (IE-9) - Body ground G-W - Body ground
    GND1 (IH-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    GND2 (IH-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    MPX1 (B3-24) - Body ground B - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    MPX2 (B3-23) - Body ground B - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    MPX3 (B5-26) - Body ground B - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D18 switch connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
    VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    E (D18-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    CPUB (D18-9) - E (D18-2) L - W-B Always 10 to 14 V

    MPX1 (D18-7) - Body ground B - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    MPX2 (D18-8) - Body ground L - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  3. CHECK MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU (TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU)

    1. Disconnect the T6 ECU connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  4. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU NO. 2 (BODY NO. 2 ECU)

    1. Disconnect the S27 and S28 ECU connectors.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  5. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER ECU (WIPER ECU)

    1. Disconnect the W4 and W5 ECU connectors.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

  6. CHECK THEFT DETERRENT ECU

    1. Disconnect the T5 ECU connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

  7. CHECK POWER SEAT ECU

    1. Disconnect the P19 and P20 ECU connectors.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

  8. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (MIRROR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the R10 ECU connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

  9. CHECK RAIN SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the R13 ECU connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

  10. CHECK MAYDAY ECU

    1. Disconnect the M15 ECU connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
