On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT ABS MOTOR1 RELAY 
    1. Remove the ABS MOTOR1 relay.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    1 - 2  Below 1Ω 
    3 - 5  10 kΩ or higher (When battery voltage is not applied between terminals) 
    3 - 5  Below 1Ω (When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

    If the value is not as specified, replace the ABS MOTOR1 relay.

  2. INSPECT ABS MOTOR2 RELAY 
    1. Remove the ABS MOTOR2 relay.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    1 - 2  Below 1Ω 
    3 - 5  10 kΩ or higher (When battery voltage is not applied between terminals) 
    3 - 5  Below 1Ω (When battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

    If the value is not as specified, replace the ABS MOTOR2 relay.
