Sliding Roof System: Inspection

- INSPECT SLIDING ROOF MOTOR SWITCH ASSY
- Remove the sliding roof motor switch (See REPLACEMENT ).
- Check the continuity between the terminals when operating the switch.
Standard:
SLIDING ROOF MOTOR SWITCH ASSYTerminals No. Switch Operation Specified Condition 1 <==> 3 TILT UP is pressed Continuity 2 <==> 3 SLIDE OPEN is pressed Continuity 1, 2 <==> 3 OFF No continuity If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- INSPECT HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FOR SLIDING ROOF MOTOR ASSY)
- Disconnect the sliding roof motor connector (See REPLACEMENT ).
- Check the connector terminals of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
