Inspection Procedure

  1. READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.
    3. Select the items below in the DATA LIST, and read the display on the intelligent tester.

      AFS (AFS ECU):

      DATA LIST

Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
RR HEIGHT SENS SENS Rear height control sensor signal value / 0 to 5 V Approx. 2.5 V -
HEIGHT SENSE VAL Rear height control sensor power supply value / 0 to 5 V Approx. 5.0 V -

OK: Normal conditions listed above are displayed.

    NG: Go to step 2

    OK: REPLACE AFS ECU

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY)
    1. Disconnect the A22 AFS ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the O1 rear height control sensor sub-assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance
