Fuel Pump Resistor: Components: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RH SIDE COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FUEL PUMP RESISTOR
- Disconnect the connector and clamp from the fuel pump resistor.
- Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 ground wires.
- Remove the bolt and fuel pump resistor.
