Rear Combination Light Assembly: Removal

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE TOOL BOX (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE RH (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 
  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE LH (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 
  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  8. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts and rear combination light.

    3. Remove the rear combination light bulb from the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove the gasket completely from the body.
      • Be sure to replace it with the supplied rear combination light gasket to prevent water intrusion.

  9. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 3 nuts and rear light.
    3. Remove the rear light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.
    4. Remove the gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove the gasket completely from the body.
      • Be sure to replace it with the supplied rear light gasket to prevent water intrusion.
