Ultrasonic Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Install the sensor to the rear bumper.
    2. Install the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
    3. Connect the sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Install the sensor to the rear bumper.
    2. Install the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
    3. Connect the sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER PLATE 
  5. INSTALL NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Install the sensor retainer to the front bumper.

    2. Install the sensor as shown in the illustration.

    3. Connect the sensor connector.
  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
