Seat Belt Control Ecu: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE TOOL BOX (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER INNER LH (See  ADJUSTMENT  ) 
  7. REMOVE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and disconnect ECU.

    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Remove the nut.
    4. Detach the claw and remove the ECU.
