Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK COMBINATION METER

    1. Disconnect the K31 meter connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      K31-40 (E2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      K31-1 (IG+) - E2 (K31-40) R - W-B Engine switch signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V
      K31-21 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Battery Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K31 meter connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Passenger seat is occupied and its seat belt is fastened Below 1 V
      z2-6 - Body ground - Seat belt warning light signal (driver side) Driver seat belt is unfastened 10 to 14 V
      Driver seat belt is fastened Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the combination meter may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY

    1. Disconnect the K46 multi-display connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      K46-10 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      K46-1 (+B1) - Body ground O - Body ground Battery Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K46 multi-display connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the multi-display may have a malfunction.
