Inspection Procedure

1. Disconnect the U46 ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the U47 battery connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   U46-2 (BBI+) - U47-1 (BBO+)	Below 1 Ω
   U46-9 (BBI-) - U47-2 (BBO-)	Below 1 Ω
   U46-2 (BBI+) or U47-1 (BBO+) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   U46-9 (BBI-) or U47-2 (BBO-) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR THEN CLEAR HISTORIC DTC 

OK: GO TO Next Step 

1. Perform registration (see REGISTRATION  ).
2. Check for DTC again.

   OK: No DTCs output. 

NG: REPLACE MAYDAY ECU THEN PERFORM REGISTRATION 

OK: END (MAYDAY BATTERY IS FAULTY; CLEAR HISTORIC DTC)
