Inspection Procedure
- When replacing the absorber control ECU, check the acceleration sensor signal after replacement (see TEST MODE PROCEDURE ).
- If the hybrid control ECU has been replaced, it is necessary to register the ECU (see REGISTRATION ).
HINT:
Check the condition of each related circuit connector before troubleshooting (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
- CHECK DLC3 (TC VOLTAGE)
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition K16-13 (TC) - K16-4 (CG) Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V - Turn the power switch OFF.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition K16-4 (CG) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
NG: GO TO step 4
OK: GO TO Next Step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - HYBRID CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the A54 hybrid control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
