FOOTWELL Light: Inspection

  1. INSPECT FOOTWELL LIGHT 
    1. Disconnect the connector from the footwell light.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the tables below.

      Standard voltage LH Side: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J19-2-J19-1 Doors are unlocked by the transmitter 10 to 14 V
      J19-2-J19-1 All doors are closed Below 1 V

      RH Side: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J60-2 - J60-1 Doors are unlocked by the transmitter 10 to 14 V
      J60-2 - J60-1 All doors are closed Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

    3. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.
    4. Check that the footwell light comes on.

      OK: Comes on 

      If the result is not as specified, replace the footwell light.
