Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL (Without Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      J54-12 (F) - J54-8 (E) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      J54-12 (F) - J54-8 (E) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control panel.

  2. INSPECT CLOCK ASSEMBLY (With Navigation System) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      J53-12 (F) - J53-2 (E) Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      J53-12 (F) - J53-2 (E) Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clock assembly.
