Inspection Procedure

CHECK FOR DTC (SFI SYSTEM)
1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / ENGINE / DTC INFO.
2. Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Code.
3. Check for DTC.
  OK: SFI system DTC is not output.
NG: GO TO SFI SYSTEM (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK FOR DTC (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM)
1. Using the intelligent tester, enter the following menus: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / ECT / DTC INFO.
2. Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Code.
3. Check for DTC.
  OK: Electronic controlled automatic transmission system DTC is not output.
NG: GO TO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

OK: REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU (See REMOVAL )
