Inspection Procedure

1. Using the remote controller, check if the television display can be opened and closed.

   OK: Can be opened and closed. 

   HINT:

   When the television display is closed, some switches on the remote controller cannot be used.

NG: Go to step 2 

OK: END 

1. When the "Rear" button of the multi-display's "Display" screen is pressed, check if the television display can be opened and closed.

   OK: Can be opened and closed.

NG: Go to step   4 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Check that the remote control operation of the rear system is not locked by the radio receiver or the display and navigation assembly.
   1. Check if "Rear System Locked" appears on the television display.

      OK: The message does not appear.

      HINT:

      If the rear system is locked and the remote controller is used in the rear seat area, an operation not possible message (for example, "Rear System Locked") is displayed. If the message is displayed, enter the multi-display's screen setting, and change "Rear System Lock" to OFF.

NG: RELEASE LOCK 

OK: GO TO  A REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE   ( ) 

1. Check for foreign matter or obstructions caught in the moving parts of the panel.

   OK: No obstruction or foreign matter found.

NG: REMOVE ANY OBSTRUCTION OR FOREIGN MATTER FOUND 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Visually check if the television display has cracks or deformation.

   OK: There are cracks and deformation. 

NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER (See  REMOVAL   ) 

OK: END (CAUSE IS CRACKS AND DEFORMATION)
