Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (P-IG1-1, P MPX-B AND P-ACC)
    1. Remove the P-IG1-1, P MPX-B and P-ACC fuses from passenger side junction block.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      FUSE (P-IG1-1, P MPX-B AND P-ACC)

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P-IG1-1 fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      P MPX-B fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      P-ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE FUSE

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

    1. Disconnect the L90 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND RESISTANCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L90-4(GND1)-Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND VOLTAGE

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L90-1 (IG) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      L90-6 (+B) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
L90-14(ACC)-Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

B: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

A: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
