Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of the linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION  ).
  • If the ECM has been replaced, it is necessary to register the ECU (see REGISTRATION ).
  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU AND ECM) 
    1. Check that the proper skid control ECU and ECM are installed.

    NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU AND ECM WITH PROPER ONES 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR  ).

      HINT:

      Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.

      Result 

      RESULT REFERENCE

      Result Proceed to
      DTC (C1203/95) is not output A
      DTC (C1203/95) is output B

    B: REPLACE ECM  (See REMOVAL )

    A: GO TO NEXT STEP
