Front Evaporator Temperature Sensor: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the screw.
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Detach the claw and remove the blower unit.
  2. REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE

    1. Remove the 2 drain hoses.
  3. REMOVE AIR DUCT LH

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.
  4. REMOVE AIR DUCT RH

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the duct.
  5. REMOVE COOL AIR BYPASS SERVO MOTOR LH

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  6. REMOVE COOL AIR BYPASS SERVO MOTOR RH

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  7. REMOVE AIR MIX SERVO MOTOR LH (Cool)

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  8. REMOVE AIR MIX SERVO MOTOR RH (Cool)

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  9. REMOVE AIR OUTLET SERVO MOTOR LH (Face)

    1. Detach the 3 claws and remove the lever.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  10. REMOVE AIR OUTLET SERVO MOTOR RH (Face)

    1. Detach the claw and remove the lever.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  11. REMOVE REAR MODE SERVO MOTOR LH

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  12. REMOVE REAR MODE SERVO MOTOR RH

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  16. REMOVE AIR MIX SERVO MOTOR RH (Hot) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.

  17. REMOVE HOT AIR BYPASS SERVO MOTOR

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and damper servo.
  18. REMOVE FRONT FOOT/DEF SERVO MOTOR LH

    1. Detach the claw and remove the main plate.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 3 screws and damper servo.
  19. REMOVE FRONT FOOT/DEF SERVO MOTOR RH

    1. Detach the claw and remove the main plate.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the 3 screws and damper servo.
  20. REMOVE PTC HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ PTC Heater)

    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Detach the 3 clamps and remove the PTC heater.
  21. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER HARNESS 
  22. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the screw and bracket.
    2. Remove the radiator, as shown in the illustration.

  23. REMOVE EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the butyl tape and packing from the A/C tube.
    2. Remove the 6 screws.

    3. Detach the 3 claws and remove the front cooling unit case.
    4. Remove the evaporator.
  24. REMOVE FRONT EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

    1. Detach the clamp and remove the sensor.
