How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Interview the customer to confirm the trouble (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ).
  3. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 
  4. CHECK BODY MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check for output DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

      HINT:

      The ECM of this system is connected to the multiplex communication system. Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, make sure to check that there is no trouble in the multiplex communication system.

    MULTIPLEX SYSTEM DTC IS OUTPUT: PROCEED TO  MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    NO MULTIPLEX SYSTEM DTC: GO TO STEP   5 

  5. DTC CLEAR 
  6. PROBLEM SYMPTOM SIMULATION 

    SYMPTOM DOES NOT OCCUR: GO TO STEP   7 

    SYMPTOM OCCURS: GO TO STEP  8
