Inspection Procedure

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the M4 connector from the multi-display.
    2. Disconnect the T15 connector from the television camera assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance 

    RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection (Terminal No.) Condition Specified Condition
    CB+ (T15-4) - CA+ (M4-29) Always Below 1 Ω
    CGND (T15-3) - CGND (M4-30) Always Below 1 Ω
    CV+ (T15-2) - V+ (M4-27) Always Below 1 Ω
    CV- (T15-1) - V- (M4-28) Always Below 1 Ω
    CB+ (T15-4) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    CGND (T15-3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    CV+ (T15-2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    CV- (T15-1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY 
    1. Reconnect the multi-display M4 connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage 

    VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection (Terminal No.) Condition Specified Condition
    CB+ (T15-4) - CGND (T15-3) Ignition switch on, shift lever R position Approx. 6 V

    NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY 

    OK: REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY
