Headlight Assembly: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE NO.2 HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Remove the No.2 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SOCKET COVER 
    1. Separate the headlight socket cover as shown in the illustration.
    2. Remove the headlight socket cover from the headlight cord.

  3. REMOVE NO.1 HEADLIGHT BULB 
    1. Halogen headlight:
      1. Remove the No.1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration.

    2. Discharge headlight:
      1. Separate the light control ECU socket as shown in the illustration.

      2. Release the set spring and remove the No.1 headlight bulb.

  4. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the front turn signal light bulb and the front turn signal light socket as a unit.
    2. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the front turn signal light socket.

  5. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET 
  6. REMOVE FRONT SIDE MAKER LIGHT BULB 
    1. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the front side marker light bulb and the No.1 headlight socket as a unit.
    2. Remove the front side marker light bulb from the No.1 headlight socket.

  7. REMOVE NO.1 HEADLIGHT SOCKET 
  8. REMOVE NO.1 HEADLIGHT COVER (w/ Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and No.1 headlight cover.
  9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET (w/ Discharge Headlight)

  10. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL ECU (w/ Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and separate the light control ECU.

    2. Disengage the claw, disconnect the connector and remove the light control ECU.

  11. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL ECU (w/ AFS) 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and the cover.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and separate the light control ECU.

    3. Disengage the claw and disconnect the connector and remove the light control ECU.
  12. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CORD (w/ Discharge Headlight)

  13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR (w/ Discharge Headlight) 
    1. Turn in the direction indicated by the arrow and disengage the pin.

    2. Turn the headlight leveling motor to align the recessed parts with the headlight unit.
    3. Disengage the claw at the tip of the shaft, and remove the headlight leveling motor.
  14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR BASE PACKING (w/ Discharge Headlight)

  15. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU (w/ AFS) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the screw and the headlight swivel ECU.

  16. REMOVE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ACTUATOR (w/ AFS) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and headlight swivel actuator.
