Inspection Procedure

When using the intelligent tester, start from 1. When not using the intelligent tester, start from 2.

READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)
1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Check that the door courtesy light switch operates using the DATA LIST (see DATA LIST/ACTIVE TEST ).
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
INSPECT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Inspect the front door courtesy switch assembly (see FRONT DOOR COURTESY SWITCH ).
2. Inspect the rear door courtesy switch assembly (see REAR DOOR COURTESY SWITCH ).
- NG: REPLACE DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH - BODY ECU)
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
