- Measure the continuity of the switch.

STOP LIGHT SWITCHTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Switch pin not pushed (Pedal depressed) Continuity 3 - 4 Switch pin pushed in (Pedal released) 3 - 4 Switch pin not pushed (Pedal depressed) No continuity 1 - 2 Switch pin pushed in (Pedal released) If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
- Measure the continuity of the switch.
