HV Relay Assembly: Installation

INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE RELAY ASSEMBLY
NOTE: Wear insulating gloves and protective glasses.
1. Install the HV relay assembly with the 3 nuts.
  Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)

2. Connect the 2 connectors on the HV relay assembly.

3. Connect the 2 main battery cable connectors on the HV relay assembly.

4. Install the No.3 wire frame on the HV relay with the 2 nuts.
  NOTE:
  - Make sure that the No. 3 wire frame do not cross each other.
  - Be sure to connect the No. 3 wire frame to each correct terminal as shown in the illustration.
  Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)

5. Install the No.3 wire frame connector on the HV relay assembly.

INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
INSPECT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK SIMULTANEOUSLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. (See INITIALIZATION )
