Front Door Lock: Inspection
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock motor.

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 6Lock Battery positive (+) → Terminal 6
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5Unlock - Measure the resistance of the position switch.

Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1-2 Lock 10 kΩ or higher 1-2 Unlock Below 1 Ω If the result is not a specified, replace the door lock assembly.
- Measure the resistance of the door lock and unlock switch.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2-4 Lock Below 1 Ω 2-4 OFF 10 kΩ or higher 2-3 Unlock Below 1 Ω 2-3 OFF 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not a specified, replace the door lock assembly.
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock motor.
