- READ DATA LIST
HINT:
Using the intelligent tester's DATA LIST allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time.
- Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Read the DATA LIST by following the directions on the tester screen.
Transponder key ECU:
ITEM MEASUREMENT NORMAL CONDITION CHARTItem Measurement Item / Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note KEY SW Unlock warning switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Key is in ignition key cylinder

OK: Data OKFRAME SERIAL NUMBER ENCRYPT CODE BCC SUB KEY Sub-key code signal / NOMATCH or MATCH NOMATCH: Unmatched sub-key code is sent
MATCH: Registered sub-key code is sentMASTER KEY Master key code signal / NOMATCH or MATCH NOMATCH: Unmatched master key code is sent
