DTC Check / Clear

CHECK DTC
1. Connect the techstream to the Controller Area Network Vehicle Interface Module (CAN VIM). Then connect the CAN VIM to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Read the DTCs by following the directions on the tester screen.

CLEAR DTC
1. Connect the techstream (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Erase the DTCs by following the directions on the tester's screen.
