Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition MCVD - Body ground Engine switch on (ACC) 4 to 6 V

NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER
OK: Go to Next Step
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the radio receiver connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition TSW- - MGND Always Below 1 Ω TSW- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OVERHEAD J/B (MICROPHONE) - RADIO RECEIVER)
- Disconnect the overhead J/B (microphone) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
