Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
    2. Select "Volume".

    3. Check that "OFF" is not selected.

      OK: OFF is not selected. 

    NG : TURN VOICE GUIDANCE VOLUME UP TO 4 USING VOICE ADJUSTMENT SWITCHES

    OK : Go to next step 

  2. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
    2. Select "Setup".

    3. Check that "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not OFF.

      OK: "Voice Guidance in All Modes" is not OFF. 

    NG : TURN VOICE GUIDANCE IN ALL MODES "ON"

    OK : Go to next step 

  3. CHECK NAVIGATION SETTING 
    1. Enter the "Menu" screen by pressing the "MENU" switch.
    2. Select "Setup".

    3. Check that "Auto Voice Guidance" is not OFF.

      OK: "Auto Voice Guidance" is not OFF. 

    NG : TURN AUTO VOICE GUIDANCE "ON"

    OK : Go to next step 

  4. CHECK MAP DISC 
    1. Check that the map disc is not deformed or cracked.

      OK: No deformations or cracks on map disc. 

    NG : REPLACE MAP DISC

    OK : Go to next step 

  5. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER 
    1. Check that audio can be heard from the speakers.

      OK: Audio can be heard. 

    NG : GO TO AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

    OK : PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
