Inspection Procedure

HINT:

The smart access system with push-button start is part of the large-scale body multiplex communication system. The first step in any repair is to confirm the proper operation of the multiplex communication system. Perform the troubleshooting after proper operation of the multiplex communication has been verified.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (COMBINATION METER) 
   1. Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the meter operates.

      OK: Key reminder buzzer sounds. 

   NG :  GO TO COMBINATION METER

   OK : REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY
