DTC Check/Clear

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical or Powertrain/(desired system)/Trouble codes
    5. Check the DTC(s) and freeze frame data, and then write them down.
    6. Check the details of the DTC(s) (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  ).
  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical or Powertrain/(desired system)/Trouble codes.
    5. Erase the DTC.
