Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU LH - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OPENER SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the Q3 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection (Symbols) Condition Specified Condition
      Q3-13 (LPSW) - Body ground Luggage compartment open switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Luggage compartment open switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  

      NG: Go to Next Step 

  2. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OPENER SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      Q45-1 - Q45-2 Luggage compartment open switch not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
      Luggage compartment open switch pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω

      NG: REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OPENER SWITCH 

      OK: REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU LH
