FUEL SIGNAL (FUEL INJECTION SIGNAL): 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
While the engine switch on (IG), fuel injection signal is interrupted for 60 seconds. Fuel gauge calibration is performed using average fuel consumption data. Engine switch off and then on (IG) and normal data is received.

ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE GAUGE: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Engine coolant temperature data is interrupted for 5 seconds. The gauge needle indicates less than "C". Engine coolant temperature data is received.

SHIFT INDICATOR (*1): 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
"P" to "D" data is interrupted for 3 seconds. All indicator lights go off. Normal data is received.
A/T range data is interrupted for 3 seconds, or more than 2 items are received simultaneously. The A/T range indicator light and backlight LED goes off. Normal data is received.

ABS & BRAKE: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
ABS & brake data is interrupted for 1 second. The warning light comes on. Normal data is received.

DOOR: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Regular data is interrupted for 10 seconds. The data received most recently remains indicated. Normal data is received.

DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Driver side seat belt inner belt assembly data is interrupted for 10 seconds. The data received most recently remains indicated. Normal data is received.

FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Front passenger side seat belt inner belt assembly data or occupant detection data is interrupted for 10 seconds. The data received most recently remains indicated. Normal data is received.

POWER STEERING: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
EPS data is interrupted for 1 second. The indicator light comes on. Normal data is received.

HEAD (*2)/TAIL (*3): 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Regular data is interrupted for 10 seconds. The data received most recently remains indicated. Normal data is received.

BEAM: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Regular data is interrupted for 10 seconds. The indicator light goes off. Normal data is received.

AIRBAG: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Airbag data is interrupted for 10 seconds or there is a malfunction in the combination meter (meter CPU). The warning light comes on. Normal data is received.

METER ILLUMINATION: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Illumination data is interrupted for 10 seconds or abnormal data is received. The display remains in daytime mode. Normal data is received.

MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY: 

FAIL-SAFE CHART

Condition Response Recovery
Cruise information data is interrupted for 60 seconds. The display becomes blank (only measurement units are displayed). Normal data is received.
