Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (D/C CUT, MPX-B) 
    1. Remove the D/C CUT and MPX-B fuses from the engine room relay block and junction block No 1
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D/C CUT fuse Always Below 1 Ω
      MPX-B fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to next Step 

  2. CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Install the D/C CUT and MPX-B fuses to the engine room relay block and junction block No. 1
    2. Disconnect the RK cowl side junction block RH connector.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below

      Standard Voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      RK-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next Step 

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the RD and RA cowl side junction block RH connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      RD-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      RA-5 (-S) - Body ground Always

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
