Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed (See INITIALIZATION
).
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
- Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the cruise control main switch on.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 45 km/h (27 mph) or more.
- Recheck for DTC s.
OK: DTC U0126 is not output.
NG: GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: Go to next Step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
- Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the engine switch off
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) again
- Drive the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to the right and left at a speed of 35 km/h (22 mph) or more.
- Recheck for DTC s.
OK: DTC C1231 is not output.
NG: GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (See DTC C1231/31 STEERING ANGLE SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION )
OK: Go to next Step
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
- Clear the DTC s (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTC s
OK: DTC B2058 is not output.
NG: REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (See SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU )
OK: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
