How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS 
    1. Confirm problem symptoms (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
  3. CHECK MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Check for DTC output (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )

      Multiplex communication DTC is not output. A
      Multiplex communication DTC is output. B

    B: INSPECT MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

  4. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      HINT.

      Refer to Bus Check for the CAN communication system (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).

      The center airbag sensor assembly is connected to the CAN communication system Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, make sure to check that there is no trouble in the CAN communication system.
