Front Power Seat Motor Assembly: Removal

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat adjuster and seat cushion frame may injure your hands.

HINT:

  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the front seat assembly (see REMOVAL  ).
  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH  (See REMOVAL  )
  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD FRONT LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  6. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  10. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and detach the 2 claws.
    3. Remove the headrest adjuster.
  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Retractable Headrest) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and headrest motor from the seatback frame.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts and detach the 2 claws.
    4. Remove the headrest adjuster.

    5. Detach the 2 claws and remove the motor.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  18. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  19. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT TRAVEL LINK  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  20. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT TRAVEL LINK  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  21. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System)  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  22. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  23. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)  (See DISASSEMBLY  )
  24. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIR BAG SENSOR  (See REMOVAL )
  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
