How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
HINT:
- Use the procedure to troubleshoot the advanced parking guidance system
- * Use the Intelligent tester or Techstream.
- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding
- CHECK IF SAME SYMPTOM APPEARS IN NAVIGATION SYSTEM
- Refer to the navigation system

- INSPECT COMMUNICATION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM*
- Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

- Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- CHECK FOR DTC*
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK/CLEAR )
- Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
