Front Door Speaker: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
   1. Connect the connector
   2. Temporarily install the speaker by attaching the claws of the speaker to the door panel
   3. Install the speaker with the 4 screws.
      NOTE: Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

      HINT:

      Install the screws in the order shown in the illustration

2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
3. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
4. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL  (See INSTALLATION )
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
   NOTE: When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
