Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
- If the hybrid vehicle control ECU has been replaced, it is necessary to register the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the ECU (see CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS ).
- When replacing the skid control ECU, perform the following operations:
- Initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION )
- Yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION )
- CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU)
- Check that the proper skid control ECU and hybrid vehicle control ECU are installed
NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU WITH PROPER ONES
OK: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the power switch ON (IG)
- Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR
)
HINT:
Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs
