Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
  • If the hybrid vehicle control ECU has been replaced, it is necessary to register the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) into the ECU (see CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS ).
  • When replacing the skid control ECU, perform the following operations:
    • Initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION  )
    • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION  )
  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Check that the proper skid control ECU and hybrid vehicle control ECU are installed

    NG: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU AND HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU WITH PROPER ONES 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 
    1. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  ).
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG)
    3. Check if the same DTC is recorded (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR  )

      HINT:

      Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs

      DTC (C1203/95) is output B

    B: REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU  (See REMOVAL )
