- INSPECT INDICATOR/WARNING LIGHT
- Check the following indicators and warning lights.

- INSPECT SPEEDOMETER
- Using a speedometer tester, check that the speedometer reading is within the allowable range shown in the table below. Also, check for proper operation of the odometer

- Using a speedometer tester, check that the speedometer reading is within the allowable range shown in the table below. Also, check for proper operation of the odometer
- INSPECT TACHOMETER
- Connect a tune-up tachometer, and start the engine
- Compare the test results with the tachometer indicator

- INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING
- Disconnect the connector from the engine oil pressure switch
- Turn the power switch ON (IG)
- Ground the terminal of the wire harness side connector for 10 seconds or more, then check the low oil pressure warning light
OK: Oil pressure warning message comes on.
- INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL WARNING
- Set the vehicle to "AWD Maintenance Mode" (see INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE )
- Turn the power switch ON (READY) and warm up the engine at an engine speed of 2000 RPM or less until the coolant temperature reaches approximately 80°C(176°F) or more
- Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector for 40 seconds or more
- Turn the power switch ON (IG), and check the multi-information display
OK: Low engine oil level message is displayed.
- INSPECT MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY
- The multi-information display test is available in "ACTIVE TEST" or "Active Test" (see DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST )
