DTC Check / Clear

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Turn the power switch OFF.
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the power switch ON (READY) and wait 30 seconds or more

      HINT:

      As the power switch must be ON (READY) in order to detect certain DTCs, make sure the power switch is ON (READY).

    4. Turn the tester ON
    5. Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer).
      1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / F STABILIZER / DTC INFO.
      2. Techstream - Select. Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Trouble Codes.
    6. Enter the following menus (Rear active stabilizer):
      1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / R STABILIZER / DTC INFO.
      2. Techstream - Select. Chassis / Rear Stabilizer / Trouble Codes
    7. Read the DTCs by following the prompts on the tester screen.

      HINT:

      Refer to the tester operator's manual for further details.

    8. Refer to the "DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART " for DTC information .
  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Turn the power switch OFF
    2. Connect the Intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the power switch ON (IG)
    4. Turn the tester ON.
    5. Enter the following menus (Front active stabilizer):
      1. Intelligent tester - Select. DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / F STABILIZER / DTC INFO.
      2. Techstream - Select. Chassis / Front Stabilizer / Trouble Codes
    6. Enter the following menus (Rear active stabilizer).
      1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / CHASSIS / R STABILIZER / DTC INFO
      2. Techstream - Select: Chassis / Rear Stabilizer / Trouble Codes.
    7. Clear DTCs
