Transmission Wire: Installation

INSTALL TRANSMISSION WIRE
1. Coat the O-ring on the transmission wire with ATF.
2. Install the transmission wire.
3. Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), tighten the bolt.
  Torque: without union nut wrench
  
  5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
  
  with union nut wrench
  
  5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).
  - This torque value is effective when the union nut wrench is parallel to the torque wrench.

4. Connect the wire connector.

5. Connect the 3 connectors to the solenoid valves
6. Connect the 3 oil pressure switch connectors.
  NOTE: Make sure that the terminals are securely engaged with the oil pressure switches.
  
  HINT
  
  If the terminals do not engage securely, replace the transmission wire

7. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the ATF temperature sensor
8. Install the ATF temperature sensor and lock plate with the bolt.
  Torque: 6.6 N*m (67 kgf*cm, 58 in.*lbf)
INSTALL OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)
1. Install the sensor connector bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)

2. Connect the sensor connector.
ADD TRANSMISSION FLUID
1. Add transmission fluid (See ADJUSTMENT )
INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER (See INSTALLATION )
