Inspection Procedure

Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

HINT:

When DTC B2325 and a LIN communication stop DTC are output simultaneously, first perform the troubleshooting for the LIN communication stop DTC. Then perform the troubleshooting for DTC B2325.

1. CLEAR DTC 
   1. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
2. CHECK FOR DTC 
   1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

   Result

   B: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK  (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )

   A: Go to next Step 

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - MASTER SWITCH) 
   1. Disconnect the E3 and R5 ECU connectors.
   2. Disconnect the I4, I12, J4 and J11 motor connectors.
   3. Disconnect the I11 switch connector.
   4. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value (s) in the tables below.

   Standard Resistance

   OK: Go to next Step 

4. CLEAR DTC 
   1. Reconnect the E3 and R5 ECU connectors.
   2. Disconnect the I11 switch connector.
   3. Reconnect 14,112, J4 and J11 motor connectors.
   4. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
5. CHECK FOR DTC 
   1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

   Result

   B: REPLACE MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See  REMOVAL  ) 

   A: Go to next Step 

6. CLEAR DTC 
   1. Reconnect the I11 switch connector.
   2. Disconnect the I12 motor connector.
   3. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
7. CHECK FOR DTC 
   1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

   Result

   B: REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH  (See REMOVAL )

8. CLEAR DTC 
   1. Reconnect the I12 motor connector.
   2. Disconnect the I4 motor connector.
   3. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
9. CHECK FOR DTC 
   1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

   Result

   B: REPLACE FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR RH  (See REMOVAL )

10. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Reconnect the 14 motor connector.
    2. Disconnect the J4 motor connector.
    3. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
11. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

12. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Reconnect the J4 motor connector.
    2. Disconnect the J11 motor connector.
    3. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
13. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

14. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Reconnect the J11 motor connector.
    2. Disconnect the R5 ECU connector.
    3. Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
15. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Recheck for DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
