Inspection Procedure

1. Check that the front washer operates (See WASHER MOTOR CIRCUIT ).

   OK: Washer function is normal. 

NG: GO TO WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM  (See WASHER MOTOR CIRCUIT )

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the E86 distance control ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the E15 windshield wiper switch connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance 

   STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E86-3 (WASH) - E15-3 (WF)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E15-3 (WF) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
