Television Display: Removal

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • w/ Navigation System:

      After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF LINING TRIM COVER 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF LINING TRIM COVER 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

  5. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.
    2. Detach the 4 clips and 2 claws.
    3. Disconnect the connector and remove the roof console box.

  6. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 5 bolts.
    3. Detach the clips and move the television display as shown in the illustration to detach the claws and remove it.

  7. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the sliding roof housing (See REMOVAL ).
  8. REMOVE TELEVISION DISPLAY BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and bracket.
