Inspection Procedure

1. Perform a DTC check, and check that the display and navigation module display (EMVN) code 58-43 is not output.

B: GO TO DTC 58-43  (See )

A: Go to Next Step 

1. Enter the "Navigation Check" mode and select "Vehicle Sensors" (See OPERATION CHECK  ).
2. While driving the vehicle, compare the "SPD" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost equal.

   OK: The readings are almost equal. 

NG: Go to step 3

OK: REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY  (See REMOVAL  )

1. Refer to "Speed signal does not change in the navigation check mode" in the problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).
