Back Door Lock: Installation

  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK PROTECTOR (w/ Power Back Door) 
    1. Attach the claw to install the protector A.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the protector B.
    3. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/o Power Back Door:
      1. Install the door lock with the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Power Back Door
      1. Install the back door lock with the 4 bolts.
      2. Connect the connector.

        Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

  3. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.
  4. INSTALL BACK DOOR GARNISH  (See REASSEMBLY )
  5. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH  (See REASSEMBLY )
  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH  (See REASSEMBLY )
  7. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH  (See REASSEMBLY )
  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  9. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
