Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)

    1. Disconnect the DA, DD, DF, L12 and L13 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to value(s) in the table below.

      2A-1 (IG) - 2D-62 (GND2) B - W-B IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the DA, DD, DF, L12 and L3 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

    5. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.

    6. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2

  2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the E29 and E30 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the E29 and E30 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction

  3. CHECK DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER

    1. Disconnect the L21 receiver connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  4. CHECK POWER BACK DOOR UNIT (w/ Power Back Door System)

    1. Disconnect the L36 unit connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Reconnect the L36 unit connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
