Active Height Control Pump And Motor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP AND MOTOR 
    1. Check the pump and motor operation.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the pump and motor connector and check the operating sound of the height control pump and motor.

    OK 

    MEASUREMENT CONDITION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Measurement Condition Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1    		 Motor operating sound heard

    If the result is not as specified, replace the height control pump and motor assembly.

    NOTE:
    • Be careful of fluid spray when the height control pump and motor is operated.
    • Do not allow the motor to operate for 60 seconds or more.
    • If the height control pump and motor is shorted, locked, or has a similar type of malfunction, a large amount of current will be flowing. Therefore, if the motor does not operate, immediately stop this inspection.
